Thanks for the information on WordPress Multi User. I’m just getting started with WP after several years using traditional websites. I can’t believe all the flexibility the plugins provide.

Good point. I used the WPMU Multi-Site plugin when I setup WordPress MU. I’m not sure if there are any other plugins that do the same thing.

WordPress Multi User is like owning your own WordPress but it’s your own domain. As long as subdomains don’t have duplicate contents as the main site, you shouldn’t have any problem with search engines indexing your blog.

I have designed my website but not constructed yet. I was advised to use wordpress as I mentioned “blog” as part of my website. I don’t want to blog myself. I want people to create their own blogs on my website (because it is very much subject related), and also other people can leave comments on each others’ blogs.

Bluehost & Godaddy are good ones. Yes its difficult for first time users, at least it was for me.
