The true identity(ies) of John Cow have been revealed . I am not sure why this was of so much interest to me. Perhaps it is because I was keen to know the past experience of those involved in managing to continue/rejuvenate the success of JohnCow.com after they took over from the original John Cow, Bob Jones. I am not surprised to learn that there is considerable experience between the three men who play the cow (not in the pantomine sense) : the front end of the cow is Jason Katzenback (i.e. the voice of John Cow for the past 3 months) and, at the rear-end, Jason Potash and Marc Quarles. All three are owners of the company Archon Media based in Texas.
They are jointly or singly responsible for:

They should make the new John Cow a very informative blog to read. That is a very impressive list of products they are behind.
I would have missed this news if you had not posted it.
I have never used any of their creations but I have read good reports about them.
I would never reproduce articles published elsewhere even if they are are allowed to be used.
It’s always neat to see the true identity of mystery bloggers. These guys seem to be an online power house. Very cool!

It’s quite interesting to know the identity of the three bloggers. Really it’s refreshing and one can’t help laughing.
I read their post unveiling their identities as well, and while I have noticed a significant improvement in the quality of the posts over the last three months, I though they were a little hard on Bob. He many not have their breadth of experience but what he did with that blog from idea to execution was amazing. A lot can be learned from his example.

I’m not surprised that they have experience. If they hadn’t, John Cow would have sunk. It’s not easy for someone to take over a blog and make it work. You’d have to have their sort of experience.

It was really cool to know who was behind John Cow they have managed to increase the blogs popularity in a huge way since they bought it . By the way there was a guest post on John Chow’s blog made by the original John Cow owner (Bob) accusing the Jason and the others of playing dirty tricks with the John Cow blog sell it was very interesting the post eventually turned in to a comment insult frenzy between Bob and Jason I guess that John Chow must have laughing his behind off when he saw what that post turned into.
I know I am late to the party commenting on this blog but I really think that the JohnCow blog is suffering these days and has gone from being useful to being another boring service pimping site.
