Plugins

This page was created by the use of a plugin too - Viper’s Plugins Used. Implementation of the plugin require you first create a custom page template. I downloaded and edited the page.php file in my theme’s folder, added the necessary code from the Viper Plugin’s readme file, saved it as page_pluginused.php and uploaded this to my theme folder. Then in my Wordpress Dashboard (Manage/Pages) I created a new page. Under ‘Page Template’ in the left hand sidebar of the new page window lo and behold I found a template called Plugins Used. I chose this added this paragraph to the page and this page is the result.

Sue,

This is Nihaar from Youlicit. Congrats on moving to a self-hosted blog and I must say it looks great! We did the same at Youlicit too recently (http://blog.youlicit.com/) and its a move we’re definitely happy about.

I also wanted to tell you about our widget. We just released a widget for bloggers that allows your readers to discover more information on any link you point to in your entries. Check it out at http://www.youlicit.com/help/tools/Tools_Blog.aspx to learn more

Cheers,

Nihaar
