Thanks Pearl. The basic layout is more or less OK but there is a lot of styling to do to tidy it up and give it more appeal.

I like the width of the main column and overall three columns definitely displays things a bit better.. I also like the simplicity of this theme..

I intend to keep it simple and clear but there are many improvements in the pipeline. I think I may start from the top down – favicon, header image, font sizes etc.

It looks quite simple – and I like that. It helps me keep the focus on the content. But on a long term, you will need to make it more brandable.

I had to remove formatting from a template rather than add it in this case. That made a change
Your blogger blog is looking great. It certainly is possible to make a blogspot blog not look like a blogspot blog. It would be good if they work out how to allow you to host this new version on your own domain. It is only possible with classic blogger at present.
