Thanks for your wonderful comments. I agree cotojo Colin you do have to practice more SEO techniques on business and money making blogs to try and bring in the highest number of readers you possibly can - as long as the time taken over it is not to the detriment of content.

Excellent post Sue.

Although my Life blog is popular, my PC Security is the one where I maintain a much higher standard, as content needs to be tried and tested before passing it on to readers.

Most of my traffic comes through search engines, as well as regular readers, but it has to be said that content is undoubtedly king.

So it has to be something that has a purpose and is useful in terms of information

I couldn’t agree more with you Sue.

I’m sooooooo fed up with the so-called a-listers and wannabees getting all the attention. They’re just in it for the fast buck and exploiting it. They really don’t care about the medium or nurturing it.

Bloggers like you are what I call “pure” bloggers. We blog for the shere joy and satisfaction that it brings.

All the traffic in the internet isn’t going to help you one bit if you don’t focus first and foremost on providing good and accurate content.

You may get them to your doorstep but they won’t be hanging around for long if you don’t. It only takes a split second to hit the back button
