The Wiki Blog Directory is a wiki based blog directory. You add links to your blog by editing the category lists, placing your link underneath those already listed. You are able to list in multiple categories.

The site has been created by BlooksLLC who are also responsible for, among other things:

Yearblook - A contest to find the best blog posts of each day
Million Blog List - another wiki directory where you can list your blog -An experiment to see how long it will take to get 1,000,000 blogs to list themselves on a wiki

You are also able to create your own page on the Wiki Blog Directory site and link to this, in addition to your blog, from your directory listings.

If you post about the directory you are allowed to use bold text for your directory entries :smile: You now know my motive for writing this post.

I heard about this meme from Colin of Life. He kindly made it available to anyone to pass on. I generally do not participate in memes that require long long lists of links of bloggers I do not know for just for the sake of getting links myself although I happily give link love to blogs and bloggers I do know and value. In this case the list is going to be passed on to friends and friends of friends and there is no requirement to include a huge master list as there is in some link chains.

(I think it advisable to suck up to Google -pretty please, Google, could I have a page rank of at least 4).

Each social networking site tends to have its own distinct language. You bump on Bumpzee, Digg on Digg, Add as a Contact on MyBlogLog., Fame on Blogging to Fame. On Sphinn you STALK and those who favor you are your stalkers. Once you have pressed the Sphinn button to express your admiration for a post you have Sphunn it. These are the main categories covered by Sphinn.

I found some interesting reading on there with Facebook being a current ‘Hot Topic’ I never thought I would see the day when I would say “I am a stalker” - then life is full of unexpected twists and turns. I am a stalker. I found a few interesting people to stalk and no doubt there will be many more, when this becomes better known, but like all these social networking sites, it is time consuming.

A good way of saving time in finding interesting submitted content on these sort of sites is to find a prominent blogger in your area of interest and see who they have added as contacts and what posts they have favored. I found the following people whose content always interests me:
