Email Subscriptions
Give your readers another way to keep up with your blog or podcast feed by placing an email subscription form on your site.
Feed Count
This tool displays your feedburner feed circulation; that is, how many people have subscribed to your feed. I wish I had 244 subscribers but the following is an image and not the real thing.
BuzzBoost
Feedburner's BuzzBoost feature creates a cut and paste javascript of your feed to include in any site you wish. (widgets are made for you if you use Blogger or Typepad)
You are able to configure the script to include html or stylable short plain-text excerpts. A template can be added to enable you to either match your sites style or even to create a completely new page.
Some uses for this could be:
- To cross-promote one of your site's within another site - your own most likely unless you have a generous friend or contact who will include it in their own!
- Create an alternate version of your site. (eg using another blog program)
- Plug your podcast in your blog sidebar.
- Publish a “mobile” edition for phones and other mobile devices.
- Combine multiple BuzzBoost scripts on a single web page to bring related content together. eg a feed of multiple blogs, a feed that includes one blog and other content such as news, weather.
- Burn feeds of multiple favorite sites and use for personal browsing on your own computer. A kind of personal home page.
