Please read my update to this post - Bloggers Did Unite to Help
It is heartening to see the amount of support that RT Cunningham of Untwisted Vortex is getting from his readers and fellow bloggers. Richard’s wife is having an operation soon and what with the cost of airfares, medical bills and lack of income for the duration, they are going to be struggling financially.
Richard was finally convinced to put a Pay Pal Donate button on his blog. I hope many rally round to help by donating.
You can read more about Richard’s plight on A Possible Disappearing Act where you will also find that Pay Pal button.

Sueblimely

Sue, I dropped in to see if I could help and bless “the key players hearts,” as he called to them, Mr Cunningham has more money anticipated. The PayPal button has been removed according to his “Circle of Life,” post. It’s an addendum and on the top of his initial post.
I really enjoy reading fantastic news on altruism is alive and well in the human race in spite of how scary things seem to appear. I’ll sleep good tonight, by golly!

I saw that he had removed the button as well. This just shows what good people bloggers are though.

That is great news and I admire his honesty for removing the button. I was pleased to see that Darren, ProBlogger, had posted about this too and that would have sent squillions more people to RT’s site than I could have done.
Thanks for letting me know that he had removed the button.
It was amazing to discover that over $3000 dollars was raised in less than 24 hours. RT is a pretty cool guy and I was very happy to see that so many people helped him out.

This was great to read, and I am so happy that our blogging world has come through for RT. There is honor among bloggers.
