Be The Blog Award

Welcome to Blogging Sueblimely. To keep up with my posts you can subscribe to my RSS feed and follow me on Twitter. Thanks for visiting!

Ev Nucci of My life is murphy’s law in a desire to recognize her blogging friends for Thanksgiving has kindly given out some awards. What a a lovely idea.

Blog Award

“This badge is for bloggers who make their blog their own, stay with it, interact with their readers, and have fun.”

I am on the way to making this blog my own again, I do doggedly stick with it* and have fun. I try my best to interact with my readers as that is the main reason I do have fun blogging. Thank you Ev, awards like this mean a lot to me.

* It seems I also dream about blogging although I am not aware of it. I have a nasty cold right now complete with fever. It seems that the worst of it occurred last night. I was singing, laughing and talking out loud. One of the main subjects was blogging. At one point I apparently said I must get up to write a post. Unfortunately, whatever inspiration was motivating me to do this has disappeared into the vast land of forgotten dreams. Maybe I should record tonights nocturnal wanderings. I may come up with a really good idea for a post :-)

Sue, Colin of Lifealso awarded this same award to you. It’s both on his blog as well as it is on mine. I’s my guess that you haven’t seen it. Be sure to look for it at the above hotlink, k?

Well, the awards invasion strikes again. LMAO! Everywhere I go I find an awards blog entry. That does it! I will create an award myself… Any ideas what should I call it?

I think yours should be the SEF award.
For those blogs who show the utmost friendship to search engines. Actually come to think of it that is not a bad idea :-) You could award people at the same time explaining to others what they need to do to be eligible for such an honor.

LOL! Can you imagine? People striving for search engine friendliness? He he. Well, actually that would probably do the users some good too. Less cluttered websites, better usability. Who knows?

Hi Saboma, I read his post as he was giving out the best buddies award rather than the BTB one?

Many suck up to the Google bot already, Mig :-)
I certainly agree with better useability and less clutter. My site is cluttered with social networking widgets at the moment - I want to see who is visiting my new site. Mind you, the same faces tend to appear in all.

links from Technoratir us to give one another and tagged a heap of people to start the season off. It is this sort of community stuff that Sue does well. Here’s an example card: [IMG] Other examples of her community building include a mention of theBe The Blog awards,  Nominating a Blog Star, and Best Blogging Buddies. I can see why she moved from blogspot.com hosted Blogger and can also see the advantages of blogspot (I mentioned blogspot.com in both respects recently myself, but not as thoroughly as Sue).
